Meddelelse fra præsident Espinos samt ny protektor for VM i Bremen

Dear President,

I want to transmit to the whole WKF family my satisfaction with the progress of the Federation, as well as the great improvements achieved over the last year. On the 28^th July I met again with the IOC President, accompanied by the Presidents of the Japanese and German Federations; at the occasion we could explain the good situation in which the WKF currently is, our hopes for Tokyo 2020 and the great expectation towards the next World Championships in Bremen.

Furthermore, I would like to anticipate the good results obtained during the last year on the development of the communications plan that we have created, through the website, social media and TV. In one year we have gone from 4000 to over 60000 followers on Facebook. We have 53000 followers on our YouTube Channel and we have already exceeded 11 million views of our videos.

Concerning the website, which has a new design and is managed professionally, the number of visits has been tripled, whereas the visits duration has also increased significantly, due to the continuity in publishing news and the complete information provided for all activities in our calendar.

Regarding the upcoming Senior World Championships, that will be held next month of November in Bremen; our expectations are also very high in terms of the  participation, the great attendance of spectators and the number of countries where it will be broadcast.

In my view it is important for you to have this information, which I will further detail during the Congress on 4^thNovember in Bremen, so that you can communicate it to all the members of your Federation, inviting them to visit our website www.wkf.net on a regular basis in order to find out all our activities in detail and for them feeling as always proud of this great Federation, the World Karate Federation.
