Competition Rules
The competition will be held in accordance with the WKF rules of January 2009.
Kata
All Kata is Tokui Kata with new Kata in each round. Kata once performed must not be performed again.
Protective Equipment
Following protective equipment is compulsory for the competitors:
- EKF or WKF approved mitts
- Gum Shield
- WKF approved female chest protector
- EKF or WKF approved foot and shin protection
In Cadet Kumite the WKF approved facemask and body protection are optional and not compulsory.
Silence call
All calls for the competitors will be silence call by number. This means that all competitors shall be on the tatami at the latest 1 minute after the previous competitors has left the tatami.
